Once your bike's sourced and delivered to Vienna, we handle two things: getting the paperwork in order, and coordinating with qualified specialists to get the bike ready for inspection. Inquiry-based, priced per vehicle.
Important
We prepare and assist — we don't perform the official inspection ourselves, and we can't guarantee registration. Final approval always rests with the registering authority (MA 46 in Vienna, or your Landesregierung) and the inspection body.
Einzelgenehmigung / Typisierung
Individual approval needed to register a bike not already type-approved for Austria. If it was previously registered abroad, foreign papers usually cover the technical data; if missing, an accredited technical service or a specialist for historic vehicles can provide a Gutachten instead.
§57a Begutachtung ("Pickerl")
The periodic roadworthiness test. We coordinate everything the bike needs beforehand — connecting you with a qualified specialist for any mechanical work — the test itself is carried out by ARBÖ, ÖAMTC, TÜV Austria, or another accredited Prüfstelle, never by us. A positive Anmeldegutachten from one of those bodies (or a Ziviltechniker) speeds up first registration.
The Oldtimer Path
Most of the classics we deal in qualify: over 30 years old and listed on the Approbierte Liste Historische Fahrzeuge. Historic plates mean the §57a check drops to once every two years instead of annually — though usage is capped, generally 120 days a year, 60 for historic motorcycles, logged in a logbook.
